The Brasswood Inn is a stately, 11-room Victorian mansion with updated amenities and ample indoor and outdoor space for guests to enjoy. The term “Brasswood” is a musical reference drawing inspiration from the materials used to create Tom’s and Brian’s primary instruments: the trumpet (brass) and the marimba (wood), respectively. Music plays such an important role in our lives that we wanted to reflect that in our new name. In addition to renaming the inn, each room is now named after an influential American composer, songwriter and/or performer who has had a profound impact on us as individuals and has contributed significantly to the identity of American music.
